Gate Access:

• The property is inside AirMindr Towers.
• Tell the guard, "I'm checking in at AirMindr's Airbnb."
• They will register you and open the gate.

Key Pickup:

• A lockbox is mounted [on the gate/ near the door].
• Code:  Use the Key Lock code indicated above
• Open the lockbox,  take the keys, and lock it again.

• Use the silver key for the main door.
• Turn key clockwise twice to unlock.

Inside the  house:

• Please use the black bin in the kitchen for general waste (food scraps,  packaging,  etc.).
• A smaller bin is in the bathroom for tissues & personal hygiene items.

Outside  the house:

• Place tied trash bags in the green bin located next to the gate/ behind the house/ by the parking bay.
• Do NOT leave trash bags outside the door, as stray dogs or cats may tear them open.

Trash Collection  Days in Eldoret

• Monday & Thursday mornings - County Council garbage truck comes around 8:00-10:00 AM.
• Please place the green bin outside the gate the night before  (Sunday & Wednesday).

Recycling & Special Items

• Bottles & cans: Place them in the blue basket under the sink. Our caretaker will sort them.
• No dumping of oil, electronics, or batteries - leave them on the kitchen counter, and we'll handle them safely.

Quick Tips

• Always tie up trash bags tightly before taking them out.
• Eldoret can be windy -ensure the bin lid is closed to avoid litter.
• If you're checking out before collection day, leave the bin at the collection point; we'll handle it.

Self-service Laundry (In-House)

• A washing machine is located in the utility room (next to the kitchen).
• Laundry detergent is provided (stored on the shelf above the machine).
• Instructions:
  • Sort clothes by light & dark colors.
  • Load machine (don't overfill).
  • Add detergent in the marked compartment.
  • Select Quick Wash (30-40 min) for most loads.
  • Start the machine.

Drying:

• Use the drying rack on the balcony OR
• Tumble dryer setting  (if available) - use on LOW heat to avoid shrinking clothes.

Full-Service Laundry (Caretaker Option)

• Our caretaker, Peter, can wash & iron clothes for you (small fee of KES 300-500  per load).

Special  Notes

• Please do NOT use bleach on towels or linens (it damages the fabric).
• If you need fresh towels or beddings, just ask - we'll swap them for you.
• No washing of heavy rugs or shoes in the machine (caretaker can arrange outside cleaning).

• Guests staying  7+ days get one complimentary bedding & towel change per week.

Inside the  Compound:

• Your parking spot  is  inside the gated  compound, just past the main gate.
• Look for the yellow "Guest Parking" sign painted on the wall.

Capacity:

• vehicle per booking is included.
• If you have an additional car,  please notify the host in advance to arrange space.

Accessing the  Parking

• The main gate is manned by security guards 24/7.
• You'll need to show your booking confirmation or mention your name to the guard on your first arrival.
• Gate Code (if applicable): The host will share the code via WhatsApp or SMS after check-in.

Parking Rules

• Park straight and within marked lines to leave room for other cars.
• Do NOT block the driveway or neighbor's gate.
• Speed limit in the compound is 10 km/h - watch out for children playing.
• No car washing inside the compound unless arranged with the host/caretaker.

Safety & Security

• The parking area is well-lit and under CCTV surveillance.
• Security guards do routine night patrols.
• We recommend that you lock your car doors and do not leave valuables visible.

Secure  Entry & Exit

• Always lock the front door when leaving or sleeping.
• Double-check that balcony doors  & windows are locked at night.
• Use the deadbolt for added security when inside. Gate  & Compound
• The property is within a gated community with  24/7 security guards.
• A security code or key is needed to access the gate - do not share this code with anyone.

Safety Tips

• Use trusted taxi apps (Bolt, Uber, or Wasili) - avoid random street cabs.
• Carry small amounts of cash; use M-Pesa for most payments.
• Avoid walking alone late at night - request a taxi if you need to go out.
• If unsure about someone at the gate or door, call the caretaker first.

Security Features

• CCTV at Gate & Entrance (for your safety- NOT inside the house) Well-lit compound  & motion sensor lights
• Burglar-proof window grills
• Lockable closets & safe box for valuables (ask caretaker for safe key if needed)

Things to Avoid

• Don't leave valuables (phones, laptops) unattended on balconies.
• Don't invite unregistered guests without notifying the host.
• Don't share Wi-Fi passwords or gate codes with outsiders.

In Case of Emergency

• Stay calm - lock yourself inside. Call Caretaker Peter first.
• If urgent, dial 999 or 112 for immediate help. Inform the host ASAP.

Check-Out Time

• Standard  Check-Out: 11:00 AM
• If you need a late check-out,  please contact the host at least 24 hours in advance  (subject to availability).

Tidy Up

• Place used towels in the laundry basket in the bathroom.
• Leave used dishes rinsed or washed if possible.
• Return any moved furniture to its original position.
• Empty the fridge of personal items you don't want to leave behind.

Trash Disposal

• Place all rubbish in the kitchen bin or designated outdoor bin near the gate.
• Separate bottles and plastics where possible (our caretaker recycles).

Keys & Gate Pass

• Return house keys to the key box (or hand them to the caretaker if present).
• If you were given a gate pass or remote,  please leave it on the dining table.

Lock Up

• Close all windows and curtains/blinds.
• Turn off lights, fans, and electronics  (TV, microwave, etc.).
• Lock the front door and ensure the gate is secure behind you.
